Promo Video!
As it turns out, the three of us are all a bit camera-shy. These last few weeks we have been working on a video which would summarize and introduce the trip. Since none of us are incredibly tech savvy, we reached out to our mutual friend and video guru Bailey Muholland. Bailey is a fellow senior at Luther College and works in the video bureau there.

Career Fair
It has been fun and exciting figuring out
how to best structure our trip, To the End of the Earth. We do a lot of
brainstorming, a.k.a. think-tank sessions, a.k.a. war council meetings, to
determine our next course of action. We do our best thinking on the lawn
adjacent to Baker Village (Upperclassmen housing at Luther College), with a
beer in hand, possibly a guitar, and a notepad. It has been amazing to see the
progress we have made, both exciting and daunting, and to see how much we have
left to do. Making the blog, video, and facebook page are all an attempt for us
to connect with people interested in what we are doing and share our trip.
Habitat for Humanity
On November 11, the boys of 'To the End of the Earth', were finally able to clear their busy schedules and make it to a Habitat for Humanity Blitz Build. A Blitz Build is a day specifically designated for the Luther College Habitat for Humanity and the Winneshiek County Habitat for Humanity to work together to finish as much on a house as possible. Since HfH is purely volunteer work, the more hands the merrier!

Ward and Jacky
Getting Started
After
we had all committed to the idea of a bike adventure, the three of us
didn’t really know how to take a first step in planning. Luckily, our
Decorah community came through for us and provided all we needed to get
started. We received contact information for Ward and Jacky Budweg, previous owners of the Decorah Bike Shop, who just so happen to have biked from Ushuaia to Bogota and frequently bike around the world.
